James E. Stevenson

James E. Stevenson, CPA, is a Partner with Lethert, has been with the Firm since 1996, and became a Partner in 2000.  Jim specializes in providing auditing, accounting, governmental audits, and business and individual tax services.

EXPERIENCE

Jim is experienced in providing accounting, tax, and advisory service to individuals, businesses and not-for-profit organizations in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area. Throughout his career, Jim has assisted clients with a wide range of individual and business tax issues. He regularly performs audits, reviews, and compilations for businesses and not-for-profit organizations. 

PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS

Jim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants.  He is a member and past President of the Rotary Club of Woodbury and is the former Finance Chair of his church in Oakdale, MN.  He is a past member of the Board of Directors of Hill Murray High School and the Catholic Spirit Publishing Company, a local weekly publication. 

EDUCATION

Jim earned a Finance and Accounting degree from Mankato State University in Mankato, Minnesota. 

INTERESTS

As an Eagle Scout, Jim enjoys remaining active in the leadership of Boy Scout Troop 817 in Oakdale.
