Tom Ford

CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT

Thomas Ford, CPA, is a Staff Accountant with Lethert and has been with the Firm since 2017 when the Firm merged with Robert C. Klein & Associates in Bloomington. He worked there in the same role since 2011. He specializes in personal and small business taxes, including tax planning, and accounting and payroll advisory and compliance services.

EXPERIENCE

Tom has significant experience with closely-held and family-owned businesses in various industries, including retail, manufacturing, and service. He also works with several not-for-profit organization clients. He is proficient at individual taxes, payroll reporting, and general accounting and bookkeeping services.

PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS

Tom is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has also served on the Board of Directors as treasurer of Easter Preschool, a not-for-profit organization in Eagan, since 2012.

EDUCATION

Tom took his accounting coursework at the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management, before earning his Certified Public Accountant license. Before then, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Minnesota. (He worked for 5 years as a reporter at the Star Tribune before deciding to change careers.)
